Monte Generoso Cup is a paragliding competition including hiking, flying and precision landing.
Both a technical and endurance challenge over the Mendrisiotto and Basso Ceresio area, split in two categories. In the “Competition” category the hiking time between Loverciano and the Cavian take-off point, plus the flying score and the precision landing score will be used to rank the athletes. In the second category “Fun” only the precision landing score will be taken into account. Moreover, it will be possible to leave the equipment at Loverciano: it will be carried to the take-off point
The main purpose of this competition is to have paragliding pilots enjoy a nice and friendly environment, encourage sharing of flying experience and let foreign pilots discover our region.
